Training and Learning Opportunities

The Higher Education Center provides a variety of training and learning opportunities in alcohol and other drug abuse and violence (AODV) prevention. The goal is to provide these services through diverse delivery systems that consist of interactive, skill-building, and knowledge transfer opportunities to support institutions of higher education (IHEs) in their efforts to prevent and mitigate the continued high rates of illegal alcohol and other drug use and violent behavior among college students. The Center’s learning opportunities include:

Together, they provide an integrated series of opportunities for college and university prevention leaders and campus and community teams to learn about, plan for, and create environmental change. These opportunities are highly interactive and focus on building skills so that participants can apply the principles and move to action on their own campuses and in their surrounding communities.

Please e-mail the Center if you are interested in participating in training services or call the Center’s toll-free number: 1-800-676-1730.
